Welcome to Troy School District
Troy School District serves over 265 students in one elementary school and a combined middle and high school. The District is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees elected by the patrons of the District.
Troy Schools are accredited through AdvancED the largest community of education professionals in the world. The AdvancEd accreditation process ensures that our educational system provides a rigorous and robust quality education to every learner, from all walks of life, in order to prepare them to succeed in a constantly-evolving and diverse world. Accreditation with AdvancED strengthens our commitment to unleash the potential in all learners by driving education improvement through innovative and continuous improvement practices.
Troy Jr./Sr. High School is a comprehensive school with a current co-educational enrollment of approximately 135 students. A high level of student success is evidenced through measures of student achievement. Troy Jr./Sr. High School was designated as a Top Performing School and made all growth targets on the Idaho Standards Achievement Test as reported on the State Report Card for Idaho Schools www.idahoschools.org. The three year graduation rate for THS is 97.47 which ranks in the Top Ten for all High Schools throughout the state. A response to intervention model was fully implemented during the 2015-16 school year and currently school wide data teams have been introduced as part of addressing the improvement priorities identified during our 2014-15 external review.
Troy Elementary consists of grades kindergarten through sixth grade. We have one class per grade level with class sizes ranging from 15-22 students per class. We do offer full day kindergarten. Our school has Schoolwide Title Program for grades K-6. This program is an integral part of our Response to Intervention model and provides comprehensive, tier two and tier three interventions in the area of reading and math. Troy Elementary also was named as a Top Performing School and made all growth targets on the Idaho Standards Achievement Test as reported on the State Report Card for Idaho Schools.

About Troy
Troy is located eleven miles east of Moscow, Idaho, home of the University of Idaho and twenty-five miles east of Pullman, Washington, home to Washington State University. Set in a town of about 1000, the Troy School District encompasses approximately 85 square miles. The Troy Elementary School was built in 1995 and a new junior/senior high school facility was opened for fall 2003 classes.
Troy residents enjoy a peaceful lifestyle in this small town. Troy has a strong sense of community . It is surrounded on the west and south by rolling farmland of the Palouse and on the north and east by some of Idaho's most unspoiled forest areas. For the avid outdoorsman, the area offers unlimited recreational opportunities. For those interested in the arts, the universities provide a diverse schedule of events. Troy School District patrons are extremely supportive of their children's future.
